“Protecting Your Brand”
The American Knife & Tool Institute invites Blade Show ticket holders with a knife business, or thinking about starting a knife business, to attend the “Protecting Your Brand” educational session. Bipartisan Bill to Protect Knife Owners Passes Senate Committee
Bipartisan legislation would ensure people who are traveling with a secured knife are not prosecuted under local or state laws. The measure was led by U.S. Senators Mike Enzi, R-WY, and Ron Wyden, D-OR, at the request of the American Knife & Tool Institute (headquartered in Wyoming).
City of Baltimore Code Regarding Switch-blade Knives
Current events have raised questions regarding the City of Baltimore, Maryland Code regarding “switch-blade” knives (automatics).
Additional 2015 Texas Knife Bill Introduced
Dagger, dirks, stilettos, bowie knives, swords, spears, knives with over 5″ blades and hand instruments designed to cut or stab another by being thrown would be removed from list of “illegal knives.”
