Ontario Knife Company® Fat® Series with TAK 2 Knife

April 23, 2021

Ontario Knife Company® (OKC®), the award-winning cutlery maker with a more than 130-year history of making some of the best knives on the market, is proud to expand its popular and durable RAT® Series of fixed blades with the introduction of the new TAK 2. The TAK 2 fixed blade knife exudes comfort and reliability by combining a phosphate-coated, high-carbon steel blade with stabilized hardwood handle scales, making it the ultimate outdoorsman’s knife.

“OKC RAT series knives have a long-standing reputation of quality and dependability, and the new TAK 2 delivers on this legacy,” said Kenneth Trbovich, President and CEO of Ontario Knife Company. “We are extremely proud to add the TAK 2 to the RAT lineup and are confident that customers will find it to be the perfect knife to head outdoors with.”

OKC TAK 2

The TAK 2 has an overall length of 9.9-inches with a 4.2-inch long 1075 phosphate-coated high carbon steel blade with a full flat taper grind for excellent slicing and cutting precision. Its beautifully designed honey gold stabilized hardwood handle is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and comfortable in the hand while in use and offers a solid grip. Although don’t let its good looks fool you, this extremely tough fixed blade can tackle nearly every task thrown at it. Whether you’re at camp or in the woods, it’s the knife you need when you need a knife outdoors.

The USA-made knife comes with a quality black belt-loop style leather sheath and has a retail price of $129.95.
