OKC Introduces a Lighter, Slim Karamit

October 5, 2019

Ontario Knife Company® (OKC) has a history for taking classic designs and adding a unique touch that makes the end product something useful, durable and entirely OKC. The Karambit-style knife is an ancient design made for combat, utility and survival. OKC has taken everything you’ve ever known about the Karambit knife and thrown it a Curve.

“The Karambit-style knife is a classic blade, and we’ve put our own bend on it with the Curve,” said Andrew Yates, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for OKC. “The Curve fits your hand extremely well, giving you more power and control over the blade. This makes it a great knife for tactical, combat and survival situations, as well as it being a solid all-around utility blade for everyday use. People that normally wouldn’t opt for a Karambit knife will find they really appreciate the Curve.”

The OKC Curve is an all-new, lighter, slimmer Karambit knife with a high carbon-steel blade that has the characteristic downwardcurving blade and looped handle. These knives are great for combat and tactical situations, but are also quite useful in survival and utility scenarios, too. The Curve has an overall length of 7.8 inches, with a 3.9-inch curved blade. The steel carries a 55-57 HRC hardness rating so you can rest assure that it will hold an edge take on every challenge. The durable handle fits extremely comfortably in the hand and has a laminated hardwood grip for durability and a classic style and look. The Curve comes with a fitted nylon sheath for easy carrying.
