The Ins and Outs of Intellectual Property

May 6, 2016

Do you know what your intellectual property is and how to protect it?  It can make the difference on whether your business is successful or not.

The American Knife & Tool Institute (AKTI) is pleased to host a BLADE Show seminar titled “The Ins and Outs of Intellectual Property” at the 2016 BLADE Show in Atlanta, Georgia. You’ll learn about establishing your rights, avoiding problems and protecting your intellectual property.  Join us on Sunday morning, June 5th at 10 a.m. in Room 103 of the Cobb Galleria for this complimentary event.

Jeremiah Pastrick, Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel of Continental Enterprises, will be discussing types of intellectual property, how to establish and protect your rights and different enforcement strategies.

“Providing information to help businesses in the knife community be successful is an important part of the American Knife & Tool Institute’s efforts,” said Jan Billeb, AKTI Executive Director, “We are pleased to partner with Continental Enterprises to offer this educational opportunity for our members and others. Protecting intellectual property is key to dealing with the prevalent counterfeit issues in today’s world.”
