Many state laws regulate the length of a knife blade, but how should it be measured? Anthony Sculimbrene, attorney and knife expert, discusses how judges approach this question in his recent article for Knife Magazine titled “How Judges Measure Blade Length.” The legal world would be best served by following AKTI’s Knife Measuring Protocol.
As a nonprofit association, AKTI’s role is to be the reasonable and responsible advocate for the knife-making and knife-using community; educating, promoting and informing that knives are important tools.
