CRKT Debuts Breakthrough Innovation at BLADE

May 31, 2016

CRKT
Columbia River Knife & Tool

CRKT® is set to rock the 2016 BLADE Show in Atlanta, Georgia, June 3rd – 5th, with hot new product introductions.

First off, the new Homefront™ knife designed by Ken Onion, which features the new breakthrough Field Strip technology. Over ten years in the making, this new technology allows you to break down your knife easily, with no tools, for maintenance and cleaning while in the field. Ken Onion will be at the CRKT booth (#29) to talk about this amazing new innovation Saturday (6/4) and Sunday (6/5) from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There will also be a preview of additional new 2017 product introductions.

The exclusive Ruger® knife line will be making its BLADE Show debut, which includes designs for everyday carry, hunting, tactical uses and self-preparedness. Developed by five CRKT® designers who have combined their knowledge of knife making with aesthetic details from Ruger® firearms. These knives are purpose built to be durable and highly functional in the environments where Ruger customers will expect them to perform. This knife line is manufactured by CRKT® under license from Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.

Also making its first appearance on the show floor, the CRKT® Forged By War™ program. Mission ready tools, designed by veterans, with 10% of the CRKT® net profits of the program donated to the veteran’s charity of choice.

Three offerings in the line-up include the Sangrador™ knife by Darrin Sirois, an experienced veteran having accomplished 11 tours of Iraq. The Birler™ axe by Vietnam veteran Elmer Roush, and the new Clever Girl™ fixed blade tactical knife designed by veteran designer Austin McGlaun.  These tools are currently benefitting the Green Beret Foundation and Purple Heart Homes, respectively. Come by the booth (#29), or go online during the show dates (www.crkt.com/giveaway), to enter to win the new Clever Girl™ knife. More information about the Forged By War™ program can be found here –http://www.crkt.com/forged-by-war.

James Williams will be doing a Japanese sword demonstration in the Courtyard from 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM on Saturday (6/4).
