Buck Knives Builds Stronger Team with Employee Promotions

Buck Knives, Post Falls, ID, is pleased to announce several promotions within its management team.

Ryan Duckett has been promoted to Director of Operations overseeing all operations including, Quality Assurance, Production, Packing/Shipping, Purchasing and Supply Chain functions. Duckett started at Buck Knives over 10 years ago as a temporary employee in packing and shipping. He quickly moved to a full time position and has since held a variety of roles, in various departments including, Tool Crib attendant, Material Handling, Purchasing, Inventory and Production Control, and Operations Manager.

Kelly Schroeder has been promoted to Production Manager. In his new role, Schroeder will manage fabrication, Assembly, and the CNC/Tool departments. He has been with Buck Knives for over 7 years and has held a variety of roles, including Senior Assembly Supervisor.

Paul West has been promoted to IT Manager. West started at Buck Knives 2 years ago as a network administrator providing extensive technical and administrative support, supporting the Axapta ERP system, and maintaining various reports across financial reporting systems. He has a long history in IT, with over 14 years of experience locally and internationally.

Tim Keaty joined the team as Human Resources Manager. He brings with him 29 years of experience in HR, including his extensive knowledge of organizational development and employee relations. In his role, he will coordinate the administrative functions and oversee recruiting, interviewing and hiring of new staff. Keaty received his B.A degree from University of New Mexico and holds an SPHR and SCP.

Bob George has been with Buck Knives for the past 10 years and has held several key sales and marketing positions. He has taken on the added responsibility of Business Development. In his new role as Vice President of Sales and Business Development, George will be tasked with securing new markets, increasing non-endemic branding opportunities as well as managing the licensing for Buck Knives. He will continue to push national branding initiatives within the outdoor industry. George graduated from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, OH with a B.A in Business Administration.

John Renzi has taken on the role of Director of Licensed and Sourced Product Development. Renzi started at Buck Knives as Master Scheduler over 40 years ago.  He will continue to manage Bucks international operations and serve as the company liaison on all licensing and sourced product development activities.
