Buck Knives Announces Appointments of Vice Presidents

Lisa Pounds has been named Vice President of Finance, Joe Piedmont has been named Vice President of Operations, and Bob George has been named Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Lisa Pounds- Vice President of Finance
Lisa Pounds, formerly Director of Finance, has been with Buck Knives for eighteen years and started with Buck as a Senior Accountant. She was one of several key employees who were invited to make the move from San Diego to Post Falls, Idaho in 2005.  During this time, she has held a variety of roles in the company, including Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, and Accounting Manager, before settling into the role of Director of Finance in 2011. She has been acting VP of Finance for the last two years and  is responsible for overseeing the accounting, human resource, and information technology teams, along with providing risk management and financial oversight for the company. Pounds graduated from San Diego Christian College with a B.S in Business Management with an emphasis in accounting.

Joe Piedmont- Vice President of Operations
Joe Piedmont, formerly Director of Operations, has been with Buck Knives for three years. He first joined the team as the Product Development Manager and was promoted to Director of New Products & Engineering within his first year. Shortly after, he was promoted once again to Director of Operations. His background includes experience in management, design, and manufacturing as well as product development. His role entails overseeing various departments, including product development, manufacturing, engineering, quality control, shipping and purchasing. Piedmont holds an MBA from Corban University and a B.A from University of Washington. He is currently serving as a board member for Cornerstone Valley, Inc.

Bob George- Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Bob George, formerly Director of Sales & Marketing, has been with Buck Knives for nine years and brings with him a wealth of executive-level experience. George started with Buck as National Sales Manager, and was promoted to Director in 2011. His background includes extensive experience in both sales and marketing.  He oversees Buck’s external sales force, builds relationships with Buck dealers, develops sales and marketing programs and constantly works to promote the Buck Knives brand worldwide. George graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a B.A in Business Administration.
