Benchmade Knife Company Promotes Jon de Asis to Sr. Director of Operations

Benchmade Knife Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Jon de Asis to the role of Senior Director of Operations.

In this new position, Jon will oversee all aspects of manufacturing at Benchmade’s factory including the production, quality, supply chain, engineering and advance development departments.  Jon will report to the President  & CEO of Benchmade, Les de Asis.

Previously for Benchmade, Jon served as Product Line Manager and Supply Chain Manager.  Prior to joining the company, he spent over five years in China serving as a Vice President  for SinoRegent, a contract manufacturer serving various sporting goods industries.  Jon holds a B.S. and MBA from the University of Oregon.

“We’re extremely excited to have Jon step into this new role” said Les de Asis.  “Jon’s broad experience and leadership skills will be critical to managing our strong growth, and ensuring that we continue to deliver industry-leading quality and innovation.
