Benchmade Donates a New Knife – Model 940-1 for AKTI 2014 Membership Giveaway Knife

Cody, Wyoming (Feb. 10, 2014) – Exciting opportunity! The American Knife & Tool Institute (AKTI) and Benchmade Knives are proud to announce the AKTI 2014 Membership Giveaway Knife, which will be presented to a lucky winner who joins AKTI or renews their membership between January 1 and December 31, 2014.

The winner of the Benchmade Model 940-1 will be announced following a drawing at the Benchmade booth during the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, January 20-23, 2015. Individual Ambassador members joining or renewing their AKTI membership in 2014 will be entered in the drawing.

“We thank Benchmade for this generous donation to promote AKTI membership and help our organization continue to promote knives as a valuable, essential tool in everyday life,” said AKTI Executive Director Jan Billeb. “Benchmade is a fantastic member and supporter of AKTI and our work since 1998 to be the voice of the knife industry and all knife users.”

The model 940-1 will be available to consumers later this year. Introduced at the SHOT Show in January, this knife was enthusiastically received and is expected to be a big hit.
