Everyone who uses knives, sells knives, buys knives, collects knives, or makes knives should be an AKTI member. It will take all of us to Keep Knives in American Lives.
AKTI Annual Dues are based on your membership category commitment level. Your support is needed to make AKTI’s efforts successful for us all. You decide which membership category fits you. Additional contributions are welcome. We don’t use your money to buy you caps or t-shirts – we use it to get this important work done!

Membership Categories

Advisory Member (with approval of Board of Regents) Annual Dues: $5,000
Advisory members are Premier Members who are involved in helping the Board of Regents in decisions about AKTI’s efforts and programs. They participate at two meetings per year with the Regents, usually held during the Blade Show and the SHOT Show. Advisory members pay their own expenses to attend meetings and frequently donate other services to the organization.
Premier Member Annual Dues: $2,000
Premier membership is an annual membership meeting voting category. Premier members receive a wooden membership plaque, an AKTI decal, membership card, the AKTI News & Update newsletter, and copies of other AKTI publications. They are listed in the About AKTI section of the website with a link to their company’s website.
Associate Member (qualifies for knife drawing)
Platinum Associate Annual Dues: $1,000
Gold Associate Annual Dues: $500
Silver Associate Annual Dues: $250
Bronze Associate Annual Dues: $100
Associate members receive an AKTI decal, membership card, luggage tag, the AKTI News & Update newsletter, and copies of other AKTI publications. Platinum Associates also receive a framed membership certificate and a new certificate on renewing. Gold, Silver and Bronze Associate may request a membership certificate suitable for framing.
Ambassador (qualifies for knife drawing) Annual Dues: $35
Ambassadors receive an AKTI decal, membership card, luggage tag, the AKTI News & Update newsletter, and copies of other AKTI publications.
Individual Life Member (qualifies for knife drawing) $750
Individual Life members receive a wooden membership plaque, luggage tag, an AKTI decal, the AKTI News & Update newsletter, and copies of other AKTI publications.
Grassroots Supporter
AKTI has learned … in California, Boston, Florida Arkansas and South Carolina … that the
most powerful way to effect change is to speak directly to lawmakers. That’s why we enlist lobbyists to carry our message to key committee members and all lawmakers in a state before a crucial vote. Then we support our lobbyists with phone calls, emails and letters before key votes. That’s where you come in. As a Grassroots Supporter, we will keep you informed electronically so you can voice your opinion directly to lawmakers as needed. There is no fee to become an AKTI Grassroots Supporter but your donations are always welcome, very important and used efficiently to fight for your knife rights. We’ll keep you updated on what’s happening in your state.
